The Wisdom of Mothers
A collection of poems, musings, and quiet truths on motherhood, mothering, and matrescence.
In the rhythms of daily life, in the first cry, the first step, the late-night worries, and the unexpected joys, mothers carry ancient wisdom.
Not the loud kind.
The kind whispered through generations, stitched into lullabies, tucked into lunchboxes, and cradled in tired arms.
The Wisdom of Mothers is a gathering place for these moments.
Poems. Reflections. Musings.
Tiny windows into the vast, tender world of becoming and being a mother.

I Didn’t Know.
I didn’t know
I could feel so tired
I might think I was slipping away.
I didn’t know
that the absence of sleep
could hollow out the edges of my life,
making every small thing feel impossible.

You Are Enough.
A reminder for today:
You are enough.
Motherhood can be challenging, and we are often our own harshest critics, thinking of all the ways we could do better, all the moments we could have handled differently.

What If…
How much time do you spend thinking:
I should play more with the kids.
I should listen more.
I should be more patient.

Some Days
Some days will test you more than others;
Sometimes you’ll be able to rise to the challenge, other times you will need to step down to reserve your strength.
Both are brave and valid.
